Connect Arlo Health to Claude

Arlo Health is a custom connector for Claude. Add it once and Claude can start a consultation with a licensed clinician, relay triage questions, read your prescriptions and linked health records, check what care costs under your insurance, and follow up after the visit, all inside the chat.

Setup

1. Open claude.ai and click Customize in the sidebar.
2. Click Connectors.
3. Click the + button, then Add custom connector.
4. Enter the name Arlo Health and the MCP URL https://mcp.arlohealth.ai, then click Add.
5. The first time you use an Arlo tool, Claude asks you to sign in. Create your Arlo account or sign in, then return to the conversation.

What to ask

• "I've had a sore throat for three days. Can you help me see a doctor?"
• "Summarize what I told you and send it to Arlo for my clinician."
• "What did the doctor prescribe, and where was it sent?"
• "What medications am I on according to my insurance records?"
• "What would an MRI of my knee cost near me on my plan?"

If Claude does not pick the connector on its own, ask it to use Arlo Health. Describe symptoms in detail. Rich context helps triage finish faster with fewer follow-up questions.

What Claude can do with Arlo

• Consultations with licensed clinicians who can diagnose, prescribe non-controlled medications, and order labs and referrals.
• Prescriptions: what was prescribed and its fulfillment status.
• Health records: coverage, conditions, medications, labs, and claims from your linked insurance.
• Care prices: free cost estimates and network checks under your plan.
• Care requests: move a referral or book an appointment. Arlo's care team executes after you approve.
• Payments: approve each visit on a Stripe link. Nothing is charged until a clinician joins.

Good to know

Clinician visits are available when you are physically in California. Care prices work anywhere in the US for supported insurers. For emergencies, call 911. Arlo does not handle controlled substances or conditions that need a physical exam.
